Jakob, known as JKW, is a music producer from Austria/Carinthia. His musical journey began five years ago when he first installed the production tool LMMS on his computer and started creating tracks. What began as an experiment quickly turned into a deep passion for electronic music.

Three years ago, JKW released his first track on SoundCloud, marking the start of his career as a producer. Initially focusing on Liquid Drum and Bass—a genre known for its atmospheric soundscapes and fluid melodies—JKW honed his skills and gradually developed his own distinctive style.

A major milestone in his career came on February 22, 2023, when JKW had his first label release alongside his friend and fellow artist EMOD under DNBB Records. On March 1, 2024, JKW followed up with a single release on Crecordings as part of the compilation "Exploring New Horizons / Various Artists." Shortly after, on June 7, 2024, he released his first 4-track EP titled 'Abyss' on Interstellar Audio.

Later in 2024, JKW appeared on two further compilations: 'Frontiers Vol.2' and 'Frontiers Vol.2 – Mixed By Jason In:Key', as well as the '2024 Part (1)' compilation—steadily building his presence across the underground DnB community. He continued into 2025 with a run of solo singles including 'Contact', 'Creatures', 'Gone', 'Silence', 'Embrace My Soul', and 'Mr. Postman'.

In 2026, JKW stepped up his output significantly—releasing the EPs 'Aeris' and 'Pandora / Words,' followed by the singles 'ARK / EXILE' and a contribution to the 'All 4 JSwift' charity compilation. His most recent release, the 'Eclypse EP' on Dialect Audio, marks a major milestone—his most polished and forward-thinking work to date, cementing his position in the European underground DnB scene.
